Maya&Sox, a marketing company, needed an informative booklet to be developed for their client, the UCT Faculty on Humanities. The booklet is vital tool for the University, as it represents the first communication between the Dean and potential students.

The client required certain criteria to be met, in order for the design to be approved: • Booklet had to represent the different departments that make up the faculty. • A modern design, which conforms to the University’s strict brand guidelines. • It had to be developed within budget

Brandverse decided to pitch various cover designs, whereupon a final design was selected that was found to represent the faculty of humanities as a whole.

The samples were then printed using spot varnish, classic paper stock and selected photography, and were presented together with the initial concepts.
